Structural changes, additions, and most plumbing or electrical work require a permit through the Metropolitan Area Building and Construction Department (MABCD). Cosmetic updates like paint, flooring, and cabinet swaps usually do not. We handle permitting and the required inspections as part of the job, so you never have to manage the city yourself.

Usually, yes. For kitchens and bathrooms we stage the work to keep as much of your home usable as possible, seal off the work area, and agree on working hours up front. For whole-home remodels we talk honestly about which phases will be disruptive so you can plan around them.

Cabinetry is usually the longest-lead item in a kitchen or bath. Because we build cabinets, vanities, and built-ins in our own Wichita shop, we control that schedule instead of waiting on a supplier, and the pieces are built to your exact walls rather than to catalog sizes.

We offer several contract structures depending on the project, and we put the payment schedule in writing before work begins. You will always know what is due, when, and for what work. No surprise invoices.

A bathroom typically runs a few weeks; a full kitchen longer, driven mostly by cabinetry, countertop templating, and inspection timing. Because our shop builds the cabinetry, our kitchen timelines are usually shorter than remodelers who order boxes from a supplier. We give you a written schedule with your estimate.
